This wasn’t some critical, brooding, ontological project about the meaning of life or reality or existence.
This was pure, unadulterated, paint-splashing, ravey fun. Thanks to Georgia and the rest of the lovely ladies at the TFA for their brilliant ‘Alternative Art Freshers’ at York St John University, I got to partake in a fantastically fun UV Jackson Pollock event. (The fact that it essentially consisted of a load of women throwing paint around in the style of this renowned ‘macho’ action-painter made things even better.)
There really isn’t much more to say to be honest, great fun, good images, and a nice change from the usual university life in York as I start on my Masters, and possibly a great idea for some fun, no-pressure, community-art night back home.
Can’t beat it.
